I've been watching concerts at The Trap since I was in high-school, virtually every Topekan knows of this place for the simple fact that it is the only place to go to, to hear live local, national, and even international music. Brian does his best to book as many nights of live music as he can, and generally the calender is loaded. There is hardly a week where there isn't at least 3 shows on the bill.

This dive, has had some major players grace the stage, along with up-and-comers and depending on the year they were popular some 'old-timers'. The Boobie Trap is not to be discounted as a hole in the wall that doesn't have any promise. Hey, you never know maybe the next time you want to go out and hear some music, maybe that band might make it. You think your too good to play The Trap, Psssht, Rev Thoery played here, The Ataris played here, The Boobie Trap has a documentary, its probably longer than your music video. If you have never been to The Boobie Trap and your aren't a music snobb, generally enjoy all music, go on a Thursday. Every Thursday The Boobie Trap runs Resistance, generally a techno/dance/house club party. There was a demand for it, and with some consistency, and awesome regulars, Brian created it. And when every-other bar is slow, and boring on Thursday(or not even open), just remember, every now and then, Brian asks women(willing participants) in bikinis to wrestle. Mud? Jello? Oil? Who cares, that's a bar you want to go to right?

(Disclaimer, don't get so drunk you leave your phone on the bar, especially if there is no password/code, your FB might get an awesome statuts update that you didn't do! After all it is bar!)
